About being on the SEA (by Steph)


Being on the SEA, just watching the sea, smelling the sea, watching and feeling the movement of the boat through the water, playing with the dolphins, feeling the wind and the sun on your skin, watching the horizon, watching the scenery passing by, looking at the sky and the clouds, watching the stars and the moon, ... living in and with the beauty of the nature and with all her power. Listening to the sound of the ocean, listening to the deep silence, listening into yourself.

Being on the SEA makes my heart feel warm. Being on the SEA touches me deep inside myself. I feel happyness pure, inner peace and freedom. I feel at home.

And then there is that LOVE. This love which is not asking, not expecting anything, this love which does not want to hold and own something, this love which just is. This love is free, this love wants to give. It is this love to everything what exits, it is the love which comes straight from your heart. It is the love which is because everything can be like it is. This love is absolute and comprehensive.
This love is there because the LOVE is.

Everything is everlasting, endless. You become one with everything.
You feel you are a real being. Just being, now, here, in this moment.

And then you see this:



I took this picture the day we sailed from Samos to Cesme.
The day when the SEA showed us all her face, The SEA is everything.

Of course this is a nice picture. The SEA, the mountains in the back, the sky in all these different kinds of colours, the hole in the clouds with the sun coming through touching the SEA,...YES, it is nice, it is great, it is beautiful and you can look at it for hours and hours.

AND it is more. YES, much more. Moments like this look like a symbol for this absolute love. Heaven and Earth want to flow into each other. The energy and the power of the absolute love combine Heaven and Earth. We have to combine the spiritual world and the material world in ourselves. It is our task to find our way on earth to enjoy being, to live a fullfilled life, to live in love and peace, to feel alive.
The love shows us the way home. Love is our genesis. And this love is in all of us, we just have to remember it. Everyone has the choice, the free will to be open for this absolute love. We are our own creators to go the way of love, to follow the way of our hearts. The paradies is in all of us. Life is a gift.

I am deeply grateful for all the experiences I am making. I appreciate the moments being one with everything what exists, I appreciate the moments accepting everything like it is, I appreciate the moments in absolute love. I am thankful for the beauty of our Earth, I am thankful for all the wonderful experiences and feelings. I live.
I am deeply thankful for all the wonderful people I meet whereever I go, I am deeply thankful for all the warm friendships I have all over the world.
We, the human beings can give each other so much. We are here to learn and to share.

But I am also thankful for the negative experiences, for the hard times, for the pain and suffering I went through in the past. Because finaly they were not negative, they help you to look more deep inside yourself, to open your heart, to accept yourself, to love yourself, they help you on your way, they show you the way home.
Nothing is like before, You are not like before, you learn so much.
Love is everything. Love is.

Hiking through the Spanish Pyrenees this summer, a high-level mountain trail, a combination of spectacular high peaks, deep green valleys and expanses of wild beauty was great.
Being back on the SEA...it is hard to find words for; I feel at home.
The voice of the sea speaks to my soul.

Roland, I am deeply thankful allowing me to join you bringing SYLPHE from Symi to Ayvalik. I enjoyed every single moment being on the SEA, the days in the sun and the ones in the rain, the days with the thunderstorms and the ones without any wind. All these bright colours at this time of the year, just fantastic. The nights on ancor in the lonley bays under the sky full of stars. The cold evenings inside cosy SYLPHE in front of the heater, listening to nice music and enjoying a great diner. The stops in Patmos and the little island nearby called Arki. The amazing evenings we spend there, I will never forget. And all the other places where we have been, all the friendly people we met, all the experiences we made,... I had such a great time.
